Cybit awarded contract with Fowler Welch

Cybit Ltd the provider of telematics and vehicle tracking is pleased to announce that it has signed a new contract with Fowler Welch, part of Dart Group plc, one of the UK's leading distributors of fresh, chilled and ambient consumer products. Cybit will deploy Fleetstar Online across the Fowler Welch trailer fleet for a five-year contract term. The agreement is valued at circa £1m in revenues, to be recognised over the life of the contract.

Cybit's solution will enable Fowler Welch to optimise fleet operations and help maintain its award winning customer service levels. The solution will integrate with Fowler Welch's Transport Management System, enabling trip and consignment data to be monitored against delivery plans to ensure optimum performance, plus a live reporting screen will highlight vehicles in relation to their jobs and planned delivery windows. This will enable Fowler Welch to manage its supply chain operations in real time and at an exceptional standard with operational staff having the tools to quickly react as events unfold. For compliance purposes they will also receive alerts if trailer temperatures rise or fall outside of pre-set thresholds.
