Cybit to provide interactive telematics forums at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show

Cybit, the UK’s leading online fleet tracking and telematics provider, will show the latest updates to its market-leading Fleetstar-Online solution at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show. Cybit experts will be on hand to offer advice on how to utilise Fleetstar technology to cut fleet operating costs with live interactive demonstrations held every hour for 15 minutes in the unique environment of the O2 sponsored demonstration suite.

Cybit will have representatives from three divisions – Transport and Logistics, Field Service, and Government and Utilities – available to discuss the latest advances in vehicle based telematics. Visitors can learn about new dynamic timesheet reporting, duty of care compliance tools, CanBus data analysis and new methods of integrating fleet tracking across the enterprise to add value to back-office scheduling and management systems.

Cybit’s hourly forums will be of interest to both companies that are new to fleet tracking technology and second generation telematics users. Cybit will demonstrate what is feasible, deliverable and at which point emerging technology can be fully utilised to add value inside an operator’s business.

“Trade shows can be a pressure cauldron of noise and hype with so much to see and do,” says John Wisdom, Cybit’s Sales & Marketing Director. “At this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show Cybit will provide an environment where considered information can be exchanged. Individuals visiting the Commercial Vehicle Show invest valuable time, and we believe that by providing regular short, interactive forums we can maximise that time and enhance their return on investment.”

“The credentials of Cybit’s vehicle telematics as a mechanism to reduce costs and improve operational management are well established,” Wisdom continued. “Our interactive forums will give us a greater opportunity to learn more about operators’ experiences so we can further address their concerns and solve problems.”

Cybit provides scalable Internet-based telematics that features real-time vehicle tracking, exception reporting, replay mode, customised reports, mileage information, SMS messaging and live traffic updates. Fleet vehicles are fitted with a small electronic in-vehicle-unit, which is tracked by GPS in real-time and then transmits data to Cybit’s online control centre. It offers users anytime, anywhere access to the system via a standard web browser.
